CrossFit Spur classes are designed to provide a solid foundation for people of all ability levels. Our systematic program is built around fundamental compound movements, but includes all aspects of fitness in order to create a well rounded athlete.
At Crossfit Spur safety is our first priority. Classes are led by qualified, experienced coaches who motivate and encourage athletes to succeed. We provide the tools to help our members achieve more than they thought possible by making hard work fun!
CrossFit Kids/Teens is based on the principles of mechanics, consistency and then intensity, CrossFit Kids emphasizes quality movement development through childhood and adolescence. Consistently good mechanics translates into physical literacy, enhanced sport performance and fewer sports or play related injuries.
Foundational physical skills are developed and reinforced through a combination of gymnastics, bodyweight calisthenics, object manipulation and basic weightlifting elements. All elements of fitness are combined to keep children engaged and active while teaching them proper movement skills to create a broad athletic foundation. Through the combination of fitness and fun, our goal is to create a lifelong love of healthy lifestyle choices and fitness.

SWEAT By Spur is a 45 minute HIIT class which does exactly what the name says!
This high intensity boot camp style class utilizes bodyweight based movements with some light equipment to get your heart pumping. Each instructor lead class consists of a warm up, work period and cool down.
You do NOT need to be an experienced CrossFit athlete to participate! Sweat By SPUR is designed to accommodate participants of ANY ability level.
This class is also a great opportunity for CrossFit athletes to put down the barbells and focus on some metabolic conditioning and recovery!

Yoga For Athletes with Dawn Dotson of Barefoot Space!
This is a mixed level class specifically for Athletes. Runners, Cyclists, Triathletes, Swimmers, Cross-Fitters, etc. all are welcome. Even if you are new to exercise or you’re not an athlete and you just want to bring a little yoga into your life, you are welcome as well.
Dawn will introduce to you the benefits of Hatha Yoga. This class is designed to address the most overused and restricted parts of your body as an athlete; muscle groups such as pectorals, adductors, serratus anterior, teres, and the deep 6 hip rotators and of course your hamstrings, hip flexors, shoulder rotators, etc.
This is a great way for you to enhance your sport, increase your mobility, increase your strength and add something great into your training. Everyone needs to stretch right? But… do you make the time for it? Stretching has been proven beneficial for many chronic conditions; back pain, arthritis, bursitis, fatigue, high blood pressure, diabetes, depression and more.
If you have a mat, bring it!
If not, we have a few you can borrow!
Otherwise the floors are made for athletes, pre-matted!
